Roupen Avsharian is the current General Counsel of Investment Dar Company, a Kuwaiti conglomerate with investments in the Middle East, GCC Area, and the UK.
He was a partner at Tribonian Law Advisors with offices in Beirut, Dubai and Riyadh.
His practice focuses on multi-jurisdictional restructurings, corporate re-organizations and providing general counsel services to regulated and unregulated entities. Mr. Avsharian has a Master of Arts degree in National Security Studies with emphasis on the Middle East from the American Military University at Charles-town, West Virginia, USA (2004) and holds a Juries Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law at Fullerton, California, USA (1996).

Mr. Avsharian has served as a Deputy Clerk of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County for several years and has spent more than 15 years providing legal services in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. He has been featured in several publications, including the Comparative Survey of Corporate Governance in the Gulf Cooperation Council (September 2006),published by the Institute of International Finance (Washington, D.C.) & Hawkamah Corporate Governance Institute (Dubai, UAE),

Journal of the British Business Forum (2006) and Arab-British Business Fortnightly Bulletin (2007) in Kuwait.

Mr. Avsharian is a member of the National Security Committee of the Section on International Law of the American Bar Association and a member of the Middle East Studies Association.
